This marks the seventeenth year for the Stav Christmas Ornament! This year's collectible features the church at Hoyjord in Vestfold, Norway. It is presumed to have been built at the end of the 11th century, and was discovered only by chance when some historians discovered it sandwiched between the inner and outer walls of a newer church. The church was finally reconstructed in 1954. The church's walls still features medieval paintings and consecration crosses, as well as the baptismal font, pulpit and altar piece.
