This marks the twentieth year for the Stav Christmas Ornament. This year's collectible features the Uvdal church in Numedal, Norway. It was built around 1168 A.D.. Research shows it was built on the site of a much older temple and that various parts of the original building were used in its construction. Ever since it was built, the Uvdal church has undergone many changes, both in its architecture and decoration. Various parts of the church have been widened or extended, and in the 1600s the first windows were installed.
