Dale of Norway - Dalestolen Men’s 1/4 Zip Sweater
Navy/Off White (95611-C00)
Details:
The Dalestolen design is an updated version of the classic Cortina 1956 pattern. Dalestolen, being made with 100% merino wool, is a versatile sweater for anyone because it is a lighter weight knit that can be as a mid layer sweater, or as a base layer for those colder days outside. The design is simple and classic, and lends itself well in any athletic, casual, or business casual occasion.
Design Notes:
The pattern design is from the original 1956 Cortina sweater – Dale of Norway's first ever Olympic sweater made for the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo. The Cortina pattern captures the very essence of Norwegian tradition and has become one of Norway’s most beloved patterns. Dalestolen is named after a summer farm in the steep mountains surrounding Dale. In the old days, this farm served as summer pasture for cattle and sheep. Today, this is a popular destination for hiking as it offers great views over the mountainous Dale area.
