Skala (Skåla) is an oversized, long wool cardigan with dropped shoulders and relaxed fit. This classic Dale pattern is done in four colors and has been enlarged and pixelated. The Cardigan features a long V-neckline with buttons down the front. The buttons are made from 50% recycled paper. The Skåla cardigan is made with a double bed jacquard technique, high rib details and with a factor for high comfort!
Design Notes:
The cardigan takes its name from the Skåla mountain, which is also called "Norway's longest uphill climb". The mountain rises 1848 meters above sea level and the village of Loen, at the head of Nordfjorden. The summit has a popular hiking destination: Skålatårnet, a large stone tower built as early as 1891.
