A breathable windproof membrane blocks the wind while regulating body temperature. Dale of Norway has designed this piece with a 1/4 zip high neck for warmth, a draw-cord hem to keep the chill out, plus soft hand gaiters with thumb holes & two zippered pockets.

The Vail sweater pattern is one the most popular designs from Dale of Norway, made now as a Windstopper! The eight-point Norwegian rose-based motif calls back to the 2006-2007 season sweater for the US Alpine and Snowboard team. The classic best-selling ski sweater now re-imagined as a water-repellent, stain and dirt resistant Windstopper, the perfect sweater for the outdoors!
Technical Specs:
The wool in this garment is treated for enhanced water and dirt resistance (PFOA-free and complies with the EU REACH regulation). The wool shell combined with the breathable windproof lining achieve a waterproof rating of 8000mm. **Note: Garment seams are not taped and therefore it is regarded as water resistant, not waterproof.
