The Voring Unisex Balaclava is knit in an exclusive air-spun (super soft) merino wool yarn. The air-spun yarn provides for light garments with a chunky, hand-knit look. The Voring Balaclava is designed to be worn around the face and neck so a soft and breathable yarn was a critical design element. The balaclava is finished with rib knit details and is slightly more structured around the face. Versatility is what makes the Voring Balaclava stand out. It can be worn with the hood up or down, it is both functional and fashionable, and is a unisex design.

Design Notes:
The exclusive air-spun merino wool is unique to Dale of Norway. Every fiber end is blown into a polyamide core in the center of the yarn. This makes the yarn more durable than traditional soft yarns. Thick merino wool is prone to pilling. By air blowing the wool fibers into the core, this merino yarn can be knitted with minimal pilling. The outcome is super soft and chunky merino wool sweaters. Naturally, our wool is mulesing-fee. Garments knitted with Husky needs to be hand washed.
